Name that pitcher!

Ok so whilst "working" this morning, I came across the career statline of two pitchers. Can you name who they are.


  • Both are currently retired.
  • Pitcher A did not get into the hall of fame and is now off the ballot.
  • Pitcher B retired recently and will be probably get voted in first or second ballot when eligible.
  • No google!

    I am assuming Pitcher A is Jack Morris and I am guessing that Pitcher B is Sharpie Schilling.

    Jack Morris and Andy Pettitte were the correct answers. Great guesses.

    I think this shows how media and public perception plays such a big part even in the HoF vote. winning 5 championships for the Yankees helps too.
