I road Corey Kluber all season long and yesterday he kept up his side of the deal. The Orioles and Red Sox are another story. Buck Showwalter found a way to end his teams win streak, fortunately Showwalter`s folly affected me not as much as you. As my impending victory seemed imminent the Red Sox and the Phillies fell behind, whilst Chris`s non-DT picks seemed primed for the taking.
Could I possibly lose the day, my glorious final day while winning my DT? The lowly Atlanta Braves happend to be playing the Phillies last night and in the sixth inning, the Braves did what they have been doing so well lately, blowing the lead and allowing a worse team steal yet another game from them. With the Phillies now on my side, it all came down to the Dodgers and the Angels, two teams that have treated both of us very well this season.
The Dodgers were playing the Rockies, a team that as of late, have been playing good ball. A short distance away in Anaheim, the Angels took on the desperate Seattle Mariners, who need a victory to hold onto dear life. In my time of need could I count on the Dodgers, who still can clinch home field advatage? Would the Angels keep Chris in this fight for one more hard fought day?
Despite Colorodo`s best efforts, the Dodgers were just to much of a match, whilst the desperate Sea-Faring boys from the North west managed to silence the beautiful choir of Angels from Anaheim, making me, once and for all, 2014`s Skin Champion.
It's over!
My congratulations to Nick, this year's champion! I would have never thought it would have gone to the last series of the year. Well fought battle.

2014 Season is here!
We are starting our 3rd year in Skinz. I have updated the tables and charts. Same rules still apply:
- No back to back picks unless forced into by rule 5. Plan ahead!!
- Must pick every team at least once per month.
- 5 picks per day. 2 AL and 2 NL picks worth 1 point each. 1 Double Trouble (DT) pick can be from either league and is worth 2 points for a correct guess and negative 1 (-1) for an incorrect pick. Max score per day is 6, low score -1. Who ever gets most points in a day wins one (1) skin.
- If score is tied on any day, the skinz up for grabs that day is then carried over to the next day until a clear winner emerges. The winner of that day then wins all accumulated skinz.
- Last Saturday of each month we get to choose a matchup that the other person must decide from.
- Rainouts count as 0 points regardless if they were DT or not.
- Picks must be posted and can be changed up until game start time.
- If any day has less than 5 games, no DT is chosen.
- If any day has 2 or fewer AL or NL matchups, That league cannot be your DT. Extra selections from the opposing league are then allowed to fill in any shortages (must pick 5 games).
- Full season runs from March 31st to September 28th. Minus the 4 days off in July that is 178 days. First to 90 skinz is the winner.
- In the unlikely event that we tie 89-89, a bare knuckle cage fight will be used to determine the winner.
